I've never regretted buying Starrett hand tools and these tiny screwdrivers are no exception. I bought them because I needed to take my watch apart and wanted to make sure that when I opened up the watch, I could handle any screw that stood in my way. So, I ponied up the bucks for these screwdrivers and am glad I did.

My next order will be for a couple spare blades for the smallest screwdrivers, .025 IN. and .040 IN. Maybe even for the .055 IN., though that one seems big enough that I don't worry too much about bunging it up.

These screwdrivers are so expensive, that no one could be begrudged for buying a lower-cost, well-reviewed alternative. However, when confronted with screwdrivers sets by the likes of Bergeon, Starrett can make you feel frugal.

So I ordered this high-priced set expecting some high quality screwdrivers but instead received a really inexpensive empty red plastic case with no screwdrivers in sight. The box clearly says "CASE ONLY" so it seems I received the wrong part# by mistake. I'm just amazed they actually have a part# for an empty plastic sleeve. So hopefully Amazon will make good on the return and actually send me a set of jeweler's screwdrivers and not just an empty plastic case.

Just as A. Lee "Gadget Luva" said in the review, I also got a box with empty plastic case in it. Returned and got credit back. However, I wonder if they just sent me the one Lee returned as a complete set shipment.

Bodies are made from steel, nicely knurled and nickel-plated. Blades are made from the best quality steel, properly tempered and nickel-plated. All blades are replaceable. Blades can be reversed into the screwdriver body and safely carried in a pocket.
