Very sturdy; can be used as stick or mallet tray when the desk is placed in the horizontal postion. Width of the desk is 20"; height of the desk is 12.5"; ledge is approximately 2.5" deep. Height-adjustable: the distance from the lip of the desk to the floor ranges from 26"-48"; maximum overall height of 60.5". Some assembly required.
